Competitions

The ARTS THREAD portfolio system allows us to offer bespoke competitions that can instantly extract each competition database, allowing simplified judging by time-pressed experts. Competition entries can be open to view or private – it’s the client’s choice.

Competitions can be used as a purely promotional driver – it’s the taking part that’s important or they can be targeted to a specific readership if it’s all about quality not quantity. For Milan Design Week 2013 ARTS THREAD worked with Designersblock over a seriously tight deadline to select 10 directional graduate designers to show at The Magazzini – a cultural hub in the trendy Tortona district, sponsored by Heineken and also featuring PechaKucha, Cool Hunting, Tuttobene, digital design pioneer Joshua Davis and Vectorfunk artist Matt W Moore.
