The two organisations have a mutual focus on unearthing, launching and nurturing upcoming designers, from our first initiative for London Design Festival in September 2011, located in the Farmiloe Building, Clerkenwell to the most recent edition in September 2013 held at the Southbank Centre. The British Library in London chose ARTS THREAD as the platform for its The British Library x Arts Thread Health Propaganda Competition. Designed to coincide with The British Library’s Propaganda: Power and Persuasion exhibition running May 17 to September 17 2013, the competition brief was to create a design, short film or illustration to influence the British public to change their attitudes and behaviour around their health.
