ARTS THREAD's Alex Brownless is a judge at this year's Admiralty Needle Competition, in which upcoming designers compete in three areas - Fashion, Accessories and Childrenswear.
The Admiralty Needle Competition is run by the Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design (SPSUTD) and showcases the work of upcoming designers from both Russia and globally.
ARTS THREAD's Alex Brownless will be a judge at this year's event, in which designers compete in three areas - Fashion, Accessories and Childrenswear.
During its 18-year history over 11,000 contestants from all regions of Russia and 20 countries have participated in the contest, with over 8,000 collections of garments, footwear, and accessories to the professional jury and audience of Saint Petersburg.
