I'm Andrew Berwick, an illustrator and printmaker from the northwest, recently graduating from North Wales school of art and design. I have a passion for observational drawing, a lot of my final artwork is well defines, precise and I like to depict realism in my work.

I specialise in printmaking techniques, in particular linocut and the bold block printing of colour. My aim is to produce contempory work using traditional media, and I like my work to be different from the digital age that we all seem to be followimg. A lot of techniques gained through printmaking cannot be replicated using digital techniques. Although I have a great understanding and ability to use digital technology, I prefer the unique style that printmaking creates. I feel my style had variety and can be applied to numerous needs within the design and illustration industry. I like to add dimension and texture to my work, and I am interested in the subtle qualities embossing techniques create.
