My work is visually inspired by engineered forms which contain elements of repetition, such as moulded rubber bellows and expansion joints. My work is also visually inspired by certain architectural buildings which contain elements of repetition within their structure, such as Chinese and Japanese pagoda temples.

I have made a series of different bowls and bases made out of ceramic and wood, which exploit my interest in the use of the lathe as a method of manufacture.

Some of the bowls are freestanding whilst others explore an interest in interchangeability.
