I believe that fashion should be fun and should not be taken too seriously. I consider it a bonus if my work makes people laugh or smile!

Simplicity is key, I strive to make everything look effortless while maintaining the knowledge that it is the technology of the knitwear that is key to its success. 

My particular style has been defined as being ‘couture loungewear’, which is ironical and humorous, suiting my sense of design style perfectly.

“Shake it. Spray it. Shake it.”, my graduate collection, is based around the urban street culture. Taking inspiration from 90s female hip-hop artists, such as TLC and other hip-hop classics and local graffiti artists. 

Using stencils as a means of enabling me to use photographic images for graffiti print designs, while the perfect tool creates the block colour instant imagery. 

I have developed a love for the use of fabric spray paint, a tool that has been key in shaping the way my prints are designed, creating softer and uneven tones making an imperfect perfection that is the bases of my graffiti.
