Alina Petrenko is a London-based illustrator, printmaker and designer. Alina was born and spent her early life beyond the rapids of the River Dnieper in Southern Ukraine, a land known for its beauty and generosity, as well as for its rich history, especially that of the Zaporozhian Cossacks. Alina’s work is infused with her childhood memories, nature, folklore and her love of storytelling. 

Alina perceives each new project as a new challenge. Her creative process involves thorough subject research and experimentation with a range of materials and techniques. She uses a combination of traditional freehand and digital drawing, collage and printmaking skills to visually communicate her ideas.
