As a pattern and print designer for fashion, textiles and home wares, my work demonstrates an attention to colour, texture and structure. I enjoy working with a wide variety of materials and processes, from hand drawn illustration, painting and photography through to printmaking and using digital design techniques with programmes such as Photoshop and Illustrator. An intuitive approach to design has enabled me to keep my own style both unique and current and shows an ability to predict future trends before they become mainstream. I strongly feel the skills I have acquired can be easily interpreted, adapted and applied to many aspects of the creative and commercial industries.
