Exploring research through mark making and interpretive drawing inspires Amanda’s creative practice. The combination of drawing within sketchbooks and working intuitively, placing and shifting elements of a piece until the composition comes together and makes sense, forms an integral part of the design journey.

Amanda describes her work as predominantly hand fabricated and colourful, making use of new technologies to create precious and non-precious, luxury fashion costume jewellery.

Reflecting on a background in Textiles and inspired by the research of luxury statements has enabled her to seamlessly blend couture detailing and that of warrior adornment to realise a contemporary luxury statement in her most recent jewellery designs
