I am a 2011 graduate of UCA Farnham specialising in print and have developed an unique and innovative creative flair. Demonstrating comprehensive technical skills, all pieces are hand dyed, hand printed and hand finished. 

Looking at the depth of reflection in a water’s surface, I was struck at the complexity and image distortion.

Using my own photographs and removing colour created unusual imagery, which translated well into digital print.

Incorporating water into the printing process by bleeding out the digital print and developing the textile to be waterproof, meant that water was always an important aspect throughout my project.

Progressing on from this knowledge I then studied the BP oil spill which presided over my interpretation of this troubling subject, whilst subversively keeping in mind the critical and political undercurrents. 

Fine silks and plastics are fused with contrasting tyre edging which structure and coil the fabric into contorted shapes.
