As a recent graduate from the BA (hons) Fashion Design with Maketing degree at The University of East London, I feel I am a confident and creative individual. Most of my strengths and confidence lie in my visual research and communication abilities, which also feeds into my daily life, providing me with a highly creative and observant outlook.

Most of my inspiration comes from art exhibitions I have seen and books I have read. Although I am extremely interested and passionate about fashion, I am much more motivated and inspired by illustrations, installations, graffiti art, fine art and the written word. I like to take ideas and suggestions form work I have seen/experienced and then collaborate and mould these ideas into my own to create a kind of hybrid.

I am also confident in more academic situations, such as market research and report writing, where I feel I have great strength.

I completed a six month work placement with 'Prangsta Costumiers' during my degree, where my main roles included sewing, pattern cutting, repairing, customising and accessory making. During my time there I feel I gained a huge strength in my visual work, and the obscure ideas of my flatwork became stronger and more vivid. I also gained alot of confidence in my sewing skills and construction ability.
