The Lost and Found Collection stems from a personal fascination with exploring found objects and decoding their history. Found objects contain unknown stories and bare palimpsests and traces of use that they have carried through the years; it is these imperfections and signs of wear that create ties from the past to the present. By incorporating these objects into jewellery they gain a new purpose, a new function and are no longer the “everyday” item that they once were.
