During my studies I have developed my artistic abilities and creative mind, refining my individual style as a textile designer. Predominately, I design surface patterns for interiors.

My designs are a combination of hand rendering, photography, digital manipulation, digital stitch and digital print.

Drawing and photography are key tools to my designing process, the starting base for all of my work. Helping me to capture my inspiration and develop my ideas.

The fundamental concept behind my designs is the re-working and innovating of traditional patterns and techniques, creating my own unique style suitable for a more contemporary market.

My work is heavily influenced by my love of Toiles de Jouy. I have a passion for pictorial designs and visual delicates but I am also greatly inspired by the concept of something so beautiful having another meaning, narrative or message that can be read. I tend to use colour pallets that both reference 'traditional' styles, as well as giving my work a distinctive edge.
