Hand painted silk designs were produced for Indigo, Paris. The designs were inspired by the wing feathers of a bird and the colours are reminiscent of those used by the Bloomsbury Group of artists.
A short digital print project for Adili.com (now Ascension online) an ethical fashion company who work with brands and groups who are genuinely commited to their ethical credentials.
Inspiration for these designs came from the Herbals book in the Shirley Sherwood Gallery at Kew Gardens. Designs for Indigo Spring/Summer 2009/10 were produced on a range of fabrics using monoprint, screenprint with foiling and cyanotype print.
