My name is April Pilling and I am a Fashion Graduate from Kingston University specialising in womenswear.

I am a self-starter with a good work ethic and i am very motivated.  I love to work both as an individual and in a team to gain results; I enjoy working hard whilst under pressure and use my initiative to help meet deadlines efficiently. I am very passionate about my work and also very reliable. 

Although my main field is design, I really love working with surface and texture and this was strengthened by an internship at All Saints throughout 2nd year.

Within my time at Kingston I have undertaken collaborative projects with a number of designers ranging from French Connection to Nicole Farhi. All types of projects have been thoroughly interesting and have all helped mould my design aesthetic into what it is today.

Whilst working on my Final Collection, swimwear and underwear became quite and integral part of the project. This has lead me to learn different and new types of pattern cutting and sewing skills, specific to swimwear and underwear that I can ad to my personal skill base.
