Bartek graduated from Bath School of Art & Design, Bath, in 2007 (BA Hons, 3D Design:Ceramics) and was awarded a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art in London in 2011 (MA, Ceramics & Glass).

"It is exciting to see how an old medium such as ceramics can be enhanced by the use of digital tools to give it a contemporary aesthetic. I am fascinated by the transition from a digital to a physical object and have been experimenting with various, low-end prototyping processes, using layering and cutting techniques."

Bartek gained valuable work experience collaborating with Vista Alegre Atlantis, largest porcelain and crystal manufacturer in Portugal and Spain. His decorative collections have been sold in company shops and shown at trade fairs in Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid and Birmingham.

In 2008, he was awarded the Talente Design Award at the International Trade Fair in Munich, Germany, for best under-30 designer.
