Brittany studied BA (Hons) Decorative Arts at Nottingham Trent University. Since graduation in 2012, she has set up a studio in Stockport, Cheshire and continues to develop her ceramics selling them across the country.
Slip-cast VesselsCLICK TO VIEW PROJECT IMAGES
The slip-cast vessels are currently available in four sizes.
Inspired by taxidermy, delicate metal stitching is added to the work. Metals are also melted onto the pieces creating colours on the surface. Making processes such as casting seams are exaggerated. Each vessel is entirely unique, branded with its individual identity in the form of a leather tag.
Every piece is fully functional and is glazed with a smooth white glaze.
Slab-Built VesselsCLICK TO VIEW PROJECT IMAGES
These vessels are built entirely by hand. Each piece is unique and is either slightly or fully textured with a combination of metal stitching. This range includes tealight holders and long tall vessels.
