Cabbage is King is a designer jewellery brand, specialising in quirky and unusual art jewellery.  Launched in 2011, designer, maker and business owner: Greig Alderman, has been selected for three national initiatives, supporting the ‘most talented and promising’ emerging jewellery designers.  Using precious metals with mixed media and new technology to compliment traditional hand skills, Greig’s designs are often sculptural in style, re-contextualising form and exploring semantics.  Inspired by cultural phenomenon, his work is characteristically playful and ironic.  Greig works both to batch production and personal commission for sale online and through galleries. He also regularly works to commission, producing larger body adornments for the media and fashion industries.
