I am a womenswear designer with an interest in combining tough structures and unusual fabrics onto the female form. I enjoy working in moulage and pattern cutting to create different and interesting shapes that can be re-worked into functional and creative garments.

I worked on placement for London-based company Bolongaro Trevor as Assistant to Head of Womenswear Design and Pattern Cutting Assistant. I was trusted with many responsibilities, from S/S'10 research to sample manufacture and pattern cutting.

I not only worked on many aspects of the collection, I also dealt with suppliers and factories. I have also recently won the National Design competition run by Dorothy Perkins and my print and mini collection are currently in production for sale in stores nationwide in Autumn 2011.

I am confident in pattern cutting/moulage, garment/sample manufacture, illustration and using Photoshop and Illustrator. as Course Representative at Northumbria I am also equipped with great organisation and communication skills.
