My practice is materials based and led; interaction with materials produces a base of knowledge that informs the design. I strive to achieve a high standard in all I do; I appreciate truth to materials and there is nothing better than to create something by hand.
The design language I use is one of traditional processes and materials with contemporary application of technology (such as laser-cutting) in order to produce forms with an element of pattern decoration.

Smith of Derby brief was to design a Timepiece suitable for 5-7
hotels abroad, and The Hub National Centre for Craft & Design brief was to design an item or range for the giftshop (the outcome was the slipcast ceramic hands)

TR is a registered charity that helps disadvantaged young people in Essex and Hertsfordshire. Instructed and inspired the participants and helped them technically.
