I have recently graduated from Bath Spa University, receiving a 1st BA Honours Degree in Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors.

Print is my specialism; screen print, block print, heat press and digital print using CAD software are the main techniques I employ within my work. Wire, beading, feathers, metal and embroidery worked over the print give a three dimensional aspect to my designs, creating rich surface textures.

Illustration and photography feature heavily, giving a bold and edgy aesthetic that lends itself perfectly to fashion fabrics and placement prints. I am able to gain inspiration from almost anything; starting points for past projects have included subjects as diverse as plastic surgery, shantytowns, china dolls and bondage!

In addition to print, I possess skills in embroidery, styling, set design, body painting and garment design and construction. Relevant experience includes assisting backstage at a catwalk show for fashion boutique Collen and Clare, styling, modeling and photographing collections for the Bath Spa University degree shows, organizing an exhibition of textile work in a Bath gallery, and ‘live screen printing’ at street fairs.

I am currently seeking employment, internships, placements and freelance work within the Fashion and Textiles industry.
