I am a recently graduated printed textiles designer who enjoys pushing boundaries and ending up in the unfamiliar. I like to work quickly moving from one idea to the next and love the creative energy of translating everything I see visually into my work.

My final collection has been inspired by the journey of food from growth to decay, exploring a wide range of screen printing techniques as well as digitally printed fabric. It was split into three collections, the first was inspired by growth - sprouting seeds, growing cress, and changes of colour. I explored specific techniques with velvet, embellishing different fabric types together to create texturally interesting surfaces. The second was a collection of digital prints inspired by the cooking of food; exploring shapes of chopped vegetables and emulating the movement and energy of cooking. And the third was inspired by decay and mould, expressed through fabric manipulation techniques using an embellisher, as well as devore on velvet and layering of lightweight fabrics together.
