I am currently a 4th year student at the Glasgow School of Art, studying textiles and specialising in print design. 

Through the research undertaken in my final year I found inspiration in the linear structures and industrial textures found in and around Glasgow, particularly those found within its rail network. The drawing process is very important in the development of my print designs, as I use a combination of media and techniques which are then directly represented in my printed textiles.

My final collection was produced by incorporating different screen printing and dyeing techniques such as discharge, hand painting, flock and pigment, with the aim to build up different layers of texture within the one pattern, in accordance with my drawing research.

My graduate collection consists of a range of sportswear- inspired printed fabrics, aimed at the menswear market.
