Silk Organza Dresses
Inspired by organic forms, Clare creates delicate garments through hand dyeing silk organza to create various tones and play with the transparency of the silk. Free hand machine embroidery is then applied which is cut into.
The fabric
Embroidered Collars
Machine embroidered silk organza collars which have been layered up with various tonal colours and then free hand stitched into. The collars have been designed to be attachable to garments with their own individual functional buttons.

Prints
Hand screen prints showing reference to inspirational natural forms have been produced as decorative wall pieces and wall paper ranges.
To continue with her love for stitch and embroidery Clare has added textural surfaces through free hand machining into her paper prints and wallpapers.
Manipulated Fabric
Structural Organic forms have been the source of inspiration to create folded origami like pieces either for walls or body adornment. The pieces are folded and secured with a statement colour of stitch to reveal a splash of colour between the folds.
