My work is primarily focused on my interest in exploring and manipulating different materials. I take insppiration from the inherent multiples, colour, patterns and forms of nature.

In my 'Dewdrop' range of jewellery each strand of nylon monofilament is individually dyed and coated in resin and then constructed into the finished piece. The finished effect prompts associations with the way dewdrops form on the webs of spiders.

By creating jewellery out of plastics, I hope to challange peoples perceptions of the qualities and uses of these materials.
