As a designer I have an array of skills that showcase my talents. CAD skills, pattern cutting and use of colour portray my creative and strong minded personality. My enthusiasm for fashion allows me to push my imagination and create bold prints that reflect a distinctive and sophisticated style.
Etherealism
To give the appearance of reallity to the extremely delicate or exceptionally refined; to embrace the wonders of mystical kingdoms and the enchantment of cosmic or natural domains and creatures, and, to create splendor, beauty and delight from dreams, hopes and visions of an exquisite future, for example, heavenly fabrics, devine prints and celestial fashion.
Precious
A collection of bold and colourful prints with reference to precious elements of nature, such as butterfly wings and insect colouring. As a summer collection the digital print was then taken onto a silk maxi dress with laser cut detail at the bottom.
Urban goes East.
A self written brief with a focus on strong photography, in particular, negative and positive light and movement on the camera. A range of prints were created with inspiration stemming from the urban enivronment, these were intended to be used on silk kimonos for a summer garment but could be used for other garments too.
