I am a final year BA(Hons) Textile Design student specialising in knitted textiles, specifically for menswear.

My final year collection is focused around initial research of old fishing boats and nautical objects with various contrasting and complementary textural qualities.

My collection draws inspiration from traditional British Isles knitwear and clashes with unusual colour combinations and yarn choices culminating in contemporary pieces aimed at the modern day menswear market.

Within my work I enjoy utilising my skills on various gauges of machinery, from 12gg Dubied to single bed domestic as well as hand knitting and crochet techniques and find combining different weights of fabric an area of particular interest along with the exploration of additional detailing/trim work.

I am keen to further my experience within the knitwear/menswear industry and would be interested in any opportunities.
