BFA, Textile Design

Darrin George graduated from the Academy of Art University in the summer of 2011, with a Bachelor in Fine Art in Textile Design.

Darrin was inspired by 1950's and 1960's wallpaper. Mixing organic shapes with classic elementary shapes. The materials worked with were silk, leather, and faux fur.

All materials were hand drawn and printed at the Academy of Art University's Textile Lab.
