I am a young motivated designer who brings together traditional yet innovative elements and techniques.

Based in central London, early successes include award winning pieces showcased in London’s renowned Swarovski crystallized lounge, work sited on Vogue.com website and a collection of pieces featured in jewellery craft magazines.

With a strong interest in the versatility of jewellery: I explore the interaction and movement of a piece of jewellery and am interested in exploring the juxtaposition of natural elements with metals and fine beadwork. I like to create impact with my intricate, eye catching and intriguing collections of jewellery.

Recent Work, Collaborations and Awards:
Cool Diamonds 2010: Entry to Cool Diamonds competition for Central Saint Martins’ finalists’.
Fannie Schiavoni 2010: In December 2010 and continuing through the year I have a part time internship with her, working in production.
CSM pop-up shop 2010: Retail manager for ‘pop-up shop’ organised by our university year to help fund our degree show.

Au Contraire fashion catwalk trend forecasting 2010:Helped organise and showcase work in the end of term Catwalk show, this included finding sponsors for the show and inviting members of the industry to view our work, These included ‘Make Jewellery magazine’ – who consequently published a feature in their July issue of my work. From this show I also received some press from Vogue.com and Craft Council.

‘Creative Jewellery and Beads’ 2010: I’ve produced pieces of jewellery that have featured in ‘Creative Jewellery and Beads’ magazine, which was on April 9th.

Diane Von Fustenberg 2010: Volunteered and helped create some headpieces for New York fashion week.                  

EVA London ring competition 2009:Entry to the London ring design competition.

Swarovski Crystallized 2009:Winner for Crystallized competition, my piece was displayed in their Crystallized lounge and has been photographed for their Swarovski website May 2009.

BAMS (British Medal Society) 2009:Selected to have my design mould cast in bronze and entered into the competition. It has been shown in the Royal Cornwall museum and is soon to be showcased in Central Saint Martins Museum.

Employment:
West Herts College Watford, Decorum College Hemel Hempstead 2010:I have worked as a substitute teacher, teaching beginners and advanced students for adult jewellery making classes.

 ‘MAKE JEWELLERY’ 2010 - Current:Through ‘Creative Beadcraft’ I have a monthly column in ‘Make Jewellery’ magazine where I design and construct a set of beaded costume jewellery and write instructions for consumers to follow whilst they construct the pieces of jewellery themselves.

Ideal world 2010 - Current:Guest demonstrator on Ideal World, employed by ‘Pottery Crafts’ to demonstrate jewellery making techniques in beading.

Creative Beadcraft 2009 - Current:I am a sales assistant, teacher and an in-house designer for ‘Creative Beadcraft’ at Marshall road, London.

Hobby Craft 2008:I demonstrated jewellery making techniques and tips in Hobby Craft stores all over the country.  

QVC 2008:Was a guest demonstrator on QVC. Employed by US based company ‘The Beadery’ to demonstrate jewellery and bead kits.
