My objective is to make pieces of work that portray a certain message that isn't always immediately obvious to the viewer. The idea is for the viewer to be intrigued by the piece and its direct appearance before they edge closer to then realise there is something within.

The theme of my work is often politically driven. I have been hugely influenced by the Middle East Conflict(s) and more specifically that of Palestine after partaking in a humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza.

With the incorporation of high fire enamels within hot glass I have come to realsie that this type of decoration has given me an oppurtunity for a greater communication through my works with those who view it.
