I am an enthusiastic, self motivated and determined Womenswear designer with an additional passion for Knitwear.

My aim is to generate desirable garments for women who enjoy creative design that is comfortable yet empowering.

I like to discover new innovative knit, pattern cutting and garment construction techniques alongside craftsmanship / artisan traditional techniques, creating a balance between old and new.

Whilst studying for my degree I have developed my skills in the following key areas; Developing inspirational research, design development, technical flat drawings and illustration using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS5.

Sampling and toiling, pattern cutting, hand and machine knit, professional garment construction and collection fittings and styling.

I also have the ability to work well under pressure and I have good time management skills. I work well independently and can manage a team and co-operate as part of one.

Whilst on my placement year I completed an industrial placement in Sydney, Australia at a High-end Australian fashion label, Hussy Clothing. I also have 5 years fashion retail experience at River Island.
