My work features traditional and non-traditional textile techniques on multi-media materials for Surface Design Interior/Exterior. Using non-traditional materials reflects my opinion on how textiles should move forward in the future. It’s about pushing the boundaries to discover the new and this is what drives me forward the most.

Materials I use are tiles, natural stone, concrete, wood, glass, and plastics with complementary fabrics and paper. I like my work to be three dimensional. I create layers of colour, print, stitch, etch and cut to create depth. Mixing my materials together also gives aesthetic and textured qualities that I strive for. This is what gives my work the strength and intensity, whilst making it innovative and exciting.
