Throughout my projects nature has strongly influenced me when designing and making in terms of shape, form and texture.

I take my inspiration from a variety of sources including leaves, stems, tree bark and flowers. I find the organic shapes and the fragile and delicate looking textures that can be found within nature highly influential and have incorporated these aspects into my work in terms of aesthetics.

The jewellery pieces have been produced from silver and plated silver and were created using techniques including reticulation, fold forming and acid etching.

I love exploring different ways of creating texture and the unpredictable results that can be achieved from acid etching and reticulation allow me to do so. I love the fact that no two surfaces are ever identical as this is the case within nature.
