Macro photographs of the rocks and walls of Cornwall inspired this collection of dip dyed silk pieces. The unique colour palettes found within the different stone formations drove this project, allowing the focus to be the compositions and contrast of
Lichen Surfaces
A project that explores the subtle surface textures and colours of Lichen. Using Macro shots of these tiny plants, I experimented with different ways of transferring the circular shapes found within these life-forms into my woven pieces.
