Emma Cowlam produces hand stitched and hand drawn illustrations from a personally developed and unique sewing technique by taking inspiration from fashionable and stylish images.

Internationally exhibited and sold, Emma’s illustrations have featured in publications such as Elle, Elle Decoration, Living Etc and Glamour. In September 2011 Emma produced a bespoke collection for the Victoria & Albert Museum and in February 2012 her illustrations launched at Liberty.

Emma’s collection for the 'Illustrated Paper Company' was selected by Mary Portas to sell in her House of Fraser concessions. 

Her strength lies in the clever combination of traditional drawing and sewing skills which can be manipulated to suit the digital age.
