'Night of Colour & Chaos' is the graduate collection by Emma Hirst, influenced by a summer spent in Sydney after gaining  an internship.  An electrical storm in which the first female convicts came ashore, forms the core of the collection, with dynamic prints and intense saturated colour reflecting the atmosphere and energy of the night.

Prints created from original large scale paintings are juxtaposed against subtle block pastels to form playful pieces with a youthful, contemporary edge.  Using raw cut leather and silk, the collection plays with the identity of the sports casual by contrasting off duty separates with luxurious feminine drape. Racer back detailing meets sensual lightweight silk that sits close to the skin.

With skills in fine art, photography, the Adobe Suite and Kaledo, Emma has also worked with a number of design studios from Liberty of London to international print studios where her designs have sold.

Having developed a wanderlust for new experiences, Emma also works as a freelance travel writer for a media contents company, alongside internships in the travel industry, both of which influence her creativity.
