'If I Knew Then What I Know now'

A photograph captures a single moment; our brain acting like an intangible vault accumulating infinite memories, amassed until recalled or erased.

Memories can come and go, not always through choice. They are not recycled like atoms, nor are they intended to be retained or preserved.

Whether it is our first tears shed, an identifiable smell or a familiar sight like a pen, our brain retrieves the objects name, its shape and its function from a memory, a collective process of recollection.  

Creating textiles of memory by exploring a fictional characters life, portraying the emotions, smells, colours, and experiences of an individual through a serious of designs translated into textiles fabrics for Fashion & Surface Design.

My Designs are a process of pen,drawings, collage, pixels, photoshop and illustration. My final pieces are based around memories and construction of our memories effectively making us who we are, a collective process of remembering.

I directly work in drawings and collage before working in CAD. I graduated with a first class honours.
