Profile - Eugene and his work as a designer maker

Eugene Osborne produces a selection of high quality, contemporary designs for home and office, interior and exterior spaces.

Eugene’s work is broad and varied and with a background in illustration he has created work ranging from sculptural lighting through to fine cabinet making such as, for example, one of his most recent pieces, a two case wine cabinet for home and hotel.

Eugene aspires not only to create aesthetically pleasing objects, but to produce innovative, inspiring work that is relevant to modern life.

“Design for me is a need to connect to the ‘real’ world through the manipulation of materials and to understand where they come from.”

Eugene is planning to set up a small workshop in his home to allow him to carry on his design work, ranging from craft objects to collaborating with manufacturers to achieve high end contemporary design.
