From an early age, I have been fascinated with and had a strong passion for steam powered ocean liners, for their sheer size, and industrial marvel and overwhelming grace.

Something that I feel lacks in the cruise industry today. 

Aesthetics such as portholes, rivets and plated steel play an important part within my work, as I find these aesthetics appealing within ship construction.

Having intense nautical influences within my work, I have a bizarre phobia of holes, technically known as Trypophobia, despite this I have a strange affinity with only one type of hole.

I developed a strong link between the two and throughout the development of my work, I pushed these boundaries.

I feel that I enhance the stereotype of a blacksmith.
