Fiona is a ceramic designer maker with 3D digital skills. During her Degree
Fiona  explored the interface between new technologies in the form of 3D printing and traditional ceramic slip-casting skills. As a student of Carmarthenshire College Fiona combined skills within the Engineering department, scanning exotic flowers, then splicing these forms using a CAD programmed with ceramic forms to produce a range of 3D printed vessel forms. Inspiration often comes from the flora, fauna and culture from the West Indies including Reggae music.  

Fiona will be showing work with the aim of selling her designs and her services as a digital 3D ceramic designer. Recently Fiona has been working on a live project and been awarded the position of graduate fellow at Carmarthenshire College, undertaking research into 3D ceramic printing.

Fiona will be exhibiting at NEW Designers in London from 29 June to 2 of July at the business Design Centre, Upper Street, Islington, and London N1.
