Frances is a Scottish artist and designer, her latest collection 'wear / worn' explores the notion of temporary and transient jewellery; creating pieces that can be worn but are ultimately impermanent. The materials used are all subject to change, influenced by the wearer and the environment. 

Graphite rings that can be worn away; prints of flower necklaces that have already decayed; and temporary transfers that can be worn but only once.

The work does not revolve around a finished piece and evolves over a period of time; photographs, books and moving images capture the pieces in their different stages and the traces they leave behind.
