I am a refined textile designer specializing in hand print and stitch. Working with many different print techniques such as procion printing, discharge printing, foiling, flocking and many other techniques to add depth, luxury and ingenuity to my work, along with the stitch accentuations to lift my work to new levels of contemporary design.

This particular Wild project was inspired by a future mega trend from Style Sight and followed by my fondness of the animal kingdom. The main aim of this Extended Major Project is to produce fabrics that have contemporary animalistic designs with an ethical friendly view to be used as an alternative to real furs and leathers.

I decided to use faux leathers and linens to portray a more animalistic approach along with primitive ideas.

Colour plays a strong part in this Extended Major Project, fusing different designs together with colour has proved to be a success in the fabrics.

Bright Oranges, Yellows, Reds and Purples are primitve primary colours, which refer back to the main theme of the simplistic effective wild animal theme.
