Symbiotic SculpturesCLICK TO VIEW PROJECT IMAGES
The core inspiration of my work is derived from the textures, forms and the adaptations that corals encompass; these vast forms are the niche to my small detailed works that I fabricate through the use of clay. I obtain gratification in the tradition of manipulating an organic material and creating unique sculptures that corresponds towards nature. The combination of different clays contributes to the symbiotic meaning of my work, which illustrates the vast contrast in colours, surface texture and forms.

Dependance is an array of glass and ceramic sculptures focused on organisims and structures found in the sea. My attention was centred on underwater archeology, where I found intrest in coral and other organisms embedding themselves onto items lost at sea. My Message in a Bottle collection reflects the fact that organisms are adapting in order to survive in the Great Ocean.
