Blue creatures inhabit each and everyone. It is the otherness we carry with us, the uncertainty, an instability or something unknown and forgotten long ago. We think we know ourselves and we rely on that knowledge. But is it that so?

In uncertain or unknown situations each of us tries to hold on to something that is close to them and calms by touch.

My aim is to create wearable organic sculptures as objects of comfort, as an invisible defence against anxiety for those who feel vulnerable.

In my work I combine metal, resin, ceramic and silicone in order to create diverse sensations through touch. My wearable sculptures can inflict slight pain, wake you up, calm you down or just give piece of mind by comfortably twining around your neck, wrist or finger. It keeps the blue creature, real wearer of active protection and dweller of the dreams, at the bay of sub-consciousness.
