I graduated from University Of Wales Institute Cardiff, with a 1st Class Honours in Contemporary Textile Practice in 2010. My course offered me practical experience, a strong theoretical background and a good fundamental knowledge of textile and paper design. I developed a strong sense of colour, design, a passion for print using different mediums and a specific interest in bespoke, individual, stylish products.

My work uses powerful colours and tends to be based on the traditional with a contemporary twist, creating a balance of traditional and modern. To date my work has often been narrative and influenced by personal experience, i.e. inspired by travel, different cultures and architecture.

I believe textiles have an enriching impact on our lives. Textiles can transform and define a space and create character. They can be innovative, unpredictable, exciting and emotional.

I am hardworking, honest and reliable. I am eager to develop my skills and experience. Despite being a new graduate I believe I have the enthusiasm, individuality and creativity to succeed.
