The city can be seen in a negative way, I set out to find the beauty in manmade desolate structured buildings. I was fascinated by the scale of the city and the hum of neon lights. These prints posses three-dimensional qualities as they all origionally
These prints were inspired by lights and the motion of the city. I embraced blurry textures and blending dots, three of these are digital print and the top right is a screen print. I enjoyed the freedom of using an open screen for blending colours.&nbs
The bridge print in this batch is a statement piece to say the least. The bold colours coupled with the large scale prints arent for the faint hearted. I love how overwhelming the giant building prints are but have softer slightly muted colours to calm
My light inspired designs use a contrast of light and dark, creating three dimensional effects. The bright colours fit well with Spring Summer, three are placement prints and one is a repeat. My darker prints would go nicely for evening wear i believe
