Ceramics and Surface design

The focus for this collection of work comes from my fascination with repetition, pattern and surface design. The starting point and the source of inspiration for these patterns is taken from the everyday, manmande landscape around me and provides an endless source of inspiration.

The patterns begin as simple mark making and line drawings, using a variety of media, the elements from these drawings are then translated and arranged in ways that complement one another through shape and colour.
