Through the process of knitted textiles I create garments and accessories with a playful edge and a sense of humour. I am fascinated by texture and the use of unusual materials and mixed media in my work is key. By imitating various surfaces through the process of knit, combining contrasting textures and distorting scale and volume, I am able to create new surfaces which transform the simple silhouettes of my garments.
