I am a hard working, enthusiastic, self motivated graduate with an interest in high end couture-like garments.

My three year course at Northbrook has helped to propel my creativity and has provided me with the skill set needed to give me a head start and succeed within this thriving industry.

It has helped me to develop a good understanding of garment technology, print development, CAD programmes such as Photoshop and Illustrator and also the importance of good and thorough research. 

I really enjoy the research aspect of my work and gathering lots of information from different sources, such as culture and architecture and then piecing them all together to form links that I can then draw on for ideas on pattern, print, silhouette and embellishment.

This understanding of good research has allowed me to create a dynamic couture-like final collection with interesting silhouettes and many complex underlying themes such as, draping, pleating, print (digital), beading and corsetry.

My ambition is to be a successful and creative young designer within the fashion industry and eventually start up my own business, focusing on the high end market.
