Music and sound occupies many aspects of our lives for example, playing it through the car on the way to work or putting on your headphones to drown out the noise around you.

However, music is playing in the world around us all the time even if it does not sound like a voice or instrument. The wind in the trees, the sound of traffic and the fields swaying, these are a few of many sounds that are constantly being made by our busy world.

Sound is the inspiration for my collection of knitted textiles. 

Sound waves and beat frequencies are invisible to the naked eye but what if somehow we could see them all the time? There would be hundreds upon thousands of lines and waves everywhere. This idea is the foundation of my research and development of original textiles.

I specialize in knitted fabrics and my work is mainly focused in interior and fashion accessories. I work on both industrial and domestic knitting machines with knowledge of many individual and original techniques.
