Helen graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2009 with a degree in Drawing. Her controversial degree show reached the attention of the national and international press and was discussed by The Guardian/The Observer on Sunday and the BBC.

She graduated again in 2011 with BA Hons Contemporary Applied Arts, after having been awarded work in a show with Salon Contemporary in London for winning their 'Artist of the Week' award, as well as the university's Burnett's Drawing Award and subsequent solo.

She has exhibited nationally as well as internationally in New York and Hong Kong and her work is held in collections worldwide.

Helen's work has been selected for major publications including New York Arts Magazine, Israel's HdL Magazine, and Skin Two, in which her Sex Cafe Chair was discussed alongside major designers and work by hip-hop star Pharrell Williams. 

Helen's work was selected for discussion by Frank Skinner on BBC's Opinionated, and her debut London solo show will take place at DegreeArt this November, and will include her latest work Benedict XVI Confession Chamber, an interactive textile installation.
